Workshops for foreign students

CIPDH workshops aim to promote knowledge, awareness, and practices regarding human rights through heritage sites related with memory. During this first stage of the project, workshops will tackle the following topics: memory; sovereignty and identity; gender; migrants and refugees and genocides. Workshops are carried out together with civil society organisations and government areas with a well-known trajectory in each topic.

Each workshop begins with a visit to a heritage site (museum, memory site, historical walk around the city) and closes with a practical activity that has the purpose of bringing human rights concepts and knowledge to youth.

This proposal is specially intended for foreign students from abroad who are studying or doing an exchange program in Argentina, as a way to complement their experience and education from a human rights perspective. However, other groups are also welcome.

Participation is free of charge and application is open but spaces are limited.

Previous knowledge is not required.
