International Day Of Commemoration In Memory Of The Victims Of The Holocaust
With the participation of prominent specialists in archival matters, and based on the practices associated to the treatment and preservation of documentation on serious human rights violations, the conference responded to the need to update the challenges and advances in the field. In particular, the debate was centered around documentation produced in contexts of political violence, dictatorships and armed conflicts, among others. Additionally, the conference served the purpose of acknowledging the contribution made by this field in the transitional and post-transitional processes to strengthen democratic systems.
Reflections from the present: 70th anniversary of the Convention on Genocide
#MappedMemories is an interactive map that covers different places of memory related to serious human rights violations around the world. This project aims to raise awareness about how different communities address their traumatic past by showing diversity, peculiarities and similarities in the way we “recall” events.
The cooperation project with the Haitian Institute of Human Rights (IHDH) is carried out through the Argentine Fund for South-South and Triangular Cooperation (FO.AR) of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is aimed at strengthening the institutionality of human rights in Haiti.
