#MappedMemories is an interactive map that covers different places of memory related to serious human rights violations around the world. This project aims to raise awareness about how different communities address their traumatic past by showing diversity, peculiarities and similarities in the way we “recall” events.
MEMORY, TRUTH AND JUSTICE IN PARAGUAY
The CIPDH-UNESCO carries out cooperation actions for the institutional and democratic strengthening of Paraguay, after the serious human rights violations during Stroessner’s dictatorship (1954-1989).
THE NUNCA MÁS REPORT, THE POWER OF AN ARCHIVE
As a result of the joint work of the CIPDH-UNESCO and Memoria Abierta, the Nunca Más Report: the Power of an Archive constitutes a documentary collection and a traveling exhibition that showcases the work carried out by the CONADEP prior to the writing of the legendary report.
WORKSHOPS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
The CIPDH-UNESCO organizes workshops for foreign students to promote knowledge and awareness of human rights. The meetings take place at historic sites of memory in buenos aires.
