ORGANIZED BY THE CIPDH-UNESCO AND THE INTER-AMERICAN COMMISSION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (IACHR), THE COMPETITION WILL TAKE PLACE ON SEPTEMBER 5TH AND 6TH, 2019, IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA.

The event is a simulation exercise that recreates thematic hearings before the IACHR. It is addressed to undergraduate university students in the Americas, who must apply as a team of four.

Its purpose is to teach students about the reality of the American region as it relates to human rights and international protection systems.

This year the topic will be “Violence and Discrimination against LGTBI People”.
