Today, the Director of the International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights, Fernanda Gil Lozano, signed a cooperation agreement between the CIPDH – UNESCO, the Committee for the Fight against Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons and for the protection and Assistance to Victims and the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation.
Juan Manuel Olima Espel, Head of the Institutional Coordination Secretariat of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and – on behalf of the Anti-Trafficking Committee – Facundo Lugoy were present. Also attended by the Director of Institutional Strengthening of the CIPDH-UNESCO, Lic. Leonardo Martín Pacecca and Dr. Laura Marrazzo, from the Legal Affairs department.
The agreement states cooperation and comprehensive reciprocal assistance will be enforced to promote joint awareness and prevention actions on the crime of trafficking.
