On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, on 13 December 2018, a day session was held to reflect on the legacies, obstacles and failures that occurred in relation to the prevention of genocide and violation of human rights.

Organized by the CIPDH-UNESCO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worshipof the Argentine Republic and the Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, with the support of the Embassy of Germany in Argentina, the day session was held at the Libertador Hall of the Palacio San Martin, located in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
